Goals

Gain experience in VLSI and/or Embedded Systems

Through my concentrations/threads at Georgia Tech, I want to learn more about computing hardware and gain hands-on experience in computer architecture. Specifically, I want to learn more about VLSI systems and gain experience in the design and construction of VLSI systems. In addition, I am very interested in embedded systems and I want to gain experience in this field and pursue a career in embedded software engineering.

Gain experience in Software Engineering

I also want to be able to gain more experience in programming in preparation for a career in software engineering as well. I would like to be proficient on both the hardware and software side of computing systems. I am specifically interested in learning more about embedded systems and software design. Through my courses and Systems and Architecture thread at Georgia Tech, I hope to gain more skills and knowledge on the key principles of software engineering.

Manufacture my own Computing Technology/Start a Tech Business

An extreme long term goal of mine is to create my own technology business backed by an innovation I create myself. I plan to pursue this goal through my engineering education at Georgia Tech supplemented with a minor in Engineering and Business. I need to be able to learn management skills while continuing to gain experience in computing hardware to create my own innovation and profit off it with a feasible business.

Timeline

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering 2026

I plan to pursue a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Computer Engineering by Spring of 2026 with a minor in Engineering & Business. The funds for this degree will come from my own pocket, my family, and scholarships/financial aid.

Masters in Electrical/Computer Engineering

Through Georgia Tech's 5-year BS/MS program, I plan to obtain my Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering one year after I obtain my bachelors. I plan to pursue my master's while in an internship position in order to fund the extra degree.

Career in Computer Architecture/VLSI Design or Embedded Systems/Software Engineering

After obtaining my Master's, I want to pursue a career in either computer architecture/VLSI design, or embedded systems/software engineering. These two fields are very interesting to me and would provide a very enriching career experience.
